First of four in Foster's Buckhorn series. Named for the town they live in, I suppose, because the brothers don't all share the same last name. (Actually, there were five stories, because the teenage son received his own romance in a novella later.)

This was a re-read for me, and one that I will read again. It's my favorite of the series. There are no plot surprises, but it's a plot I like: the damsel in distress, rescued by a family of strong men who, while thinking of themselves as die-hard bachelors, have really just been waiting for that perfect women to change their lives. (Cracks me up.)

This story IS about the men; the heroine is the catalyst, but the setting is all theirs. This was originally published in 2000, and it is a little dated, technologically. Nothing that will impact the story. The heroine has one Too Stupid To Live moment at the end, but it is only a moment.

The entire series of books written about the Buckhorn brothers are well crafted. Lori Foster has created well developed characters with a compelling story that will not disappoint readers. Warning! Her books are addictive. I could not stop until I had read all four.
Small town doctor that still does house calls even tho he knows that not all of is female patients are truely in need of "medical" assistance. Down to earth and sexy as sin
this is the frist book by lori foster that I have read. I did enjoy it and have ordered more, have not read them jet, but if their are as good as sawyer then I will be pleased.
I absolutely looooooved this book. I mean, HELLO...Sawyer was absolutely yummy. I enjoyed the family dynamic and the character chemistry. It was a relatively short read but a great one. I can't wait to read about Morgan next.
First time reader of this author. I usually read novels that have intricate plots, but I was looking for light-hearted fare. This was it. Moved quickly without being mundane, VERY humorous, and very sexy (I like it when the characters are surprised at their compatibilty). I have quickly ordered the next three in the series and look forward to reading them.
Boy do I love the Buckhorn brother's . Talk about your tostosterone running rampant. Whew! The guys have got it in spades! Sawyer Hudson is a doctor who pulled his most recent patient out of a lake. Honey Malone is sick and she's running from something, but she won't tell him why or from who. He tries to help her, but she wants no part of any man right now. She's had enough of men to last her a long while. Sawyer has a strong attraction to the stranger on the run. He doesn't want to, but he can't help himself.

This whgole series is great. I would recommend it to everyone!
This tale of Sawyer - the Doctor - is told well. Attention to detail, humor among brothers, intrigue, and eventually love are told well with realistic dialogue. If you like your men manly- this is a great summer read!
